My name is Philip Eubanks. I accepted the position of the Liaison of Pride Sim to Gay Archipelago. I represent the Pride Sim along with my partner Marcus Steeplechase and a huge group of fine people. The Pride Sim was created to welcome new people to Second Life thru an LGBT Gateway.
When Marcus hit his head one evening and had a brain storm to create this Sim, the reaction from so many was wonderful. So many came together and donated their time, energy, building skills and mental skills, to make it such a success. **AND IT WORKED**.
Today the Pride Sim, as an LGBT Gateway, is on hold because the entire Gateway project was dropped by Linden Lab. However, we are still in talks with the Lindens to re-open as a main LGBT hub. The Pride Sim is still here and will be here as the center piece of the Gay Archipelago. It is our hope that sometime soon, Linden Lab will settle on a new program which will once again make the Pride Sim an 'official' gathering place for LGBT residents of SL.
My position here is to help in any way I can to direct, inform, and promote the union of the Pride Sim and the Gay Archipelago community as a whole. Feel free to contact myself or anyone from the LGBT team as we are all pleased to help. I am not here to be involved in any Council business, but just as a friend to help all walks of people.
The Teahouse of the August Moon Event was this past Saturday and the energy was as unbelievable as the scenery. This was the third year for the Teahouse of the August Moon Event and it lived up to its great reputation. The evening started at 12 noon SLT with the floor show where DJ Vortmax did a superb job as the MC. The second floor show was at 6 PM SLT and was hosted by our MC DJ Wesley Spengler announcing the scenes beautifully.
As announced previously, Linden Lab has offered to LGBT Estates in Second Life to move within Gay Archipelago and share traffic together... for FREE ! vs. $150US/per sim. Woohoo 
This offer is only available to our friends until September 15th.
Any move within the Gay Archipelago after this date will be charged by 150$/sim by Linden Lab.
This is a great opportunity to share diversity, friendship, partnership, and great events together in a place with the Pride LGBT gateway and a Gay sandbox in its heart.

On the first day of Second Pride, our friends Keokipele Ansar, as SP Committe Chairman, me for GA, Mystiphi Giha, as Lesbians Rep, Miquela Dovgal, as Transgender Rep, had to say few words before the Pink Concert. And the lag made it impossible. Lag synonym of success in SL as we know
So I delivery my lil speech here to you as GA had a particular message to spread :
"I am Fabrice Snook, Presiding chair of Gay Archipelago Council. Im happy and proud to talk to the beautiful individualities here.
Im very excited to see what this Second Pride Festival is going to be this year. Im pretty sure that's one of the best editions we will have seen ever. I would like to congrat and to thank, specially Keo, Marcus and all who have brought so much talent and skills into this achievement.
I am delighted to see so many people from the Gay Archipelago involved within the organization this year. As you certainly know G.A. has grown very fast. With 131 sims today, and, at its heart, the sim Pride Gateway legitimated by so many sims around, the community map has dramatically changed in Second Life.
The LGBT Community map is not the same today than one year before, as far the GA Estates owners represent all together more than 70% of the LGBT Community.
We didnt think we would have All the community in the same area. There are many good reasons why we would be spread all over the grid. Nevertheless, the key of the GA success today is friendship and partnership. And we are really proud of that.
Today, I would just like to take this opportunity to be with you to ask a simple question :
It's great to raise so much funds (1), but... are we all so rich ?
