Heya Folks,
As stated last month at a Council board meeting, and for your information, the GA volunteers team have to be renewed each six months. Therefore, two Council mandates per year will take place : one from January to June, the another from July to December.
Each of them are ending by a Festival managed by the Council team : the SummerFest in June, the WinterFest in December with the elections of Ms Lesbian and Mr Gay.
Thereferore, a new Council team will handle the reins next week.
The Festival kicks off in less than 10 days, from June 21st through Sunday 26th. It aims to highlight and support the estates located in the GA area and to welcome friends under 6 days of Summer celebration - including the Nekkid Weekend.
Most of the main places of the Festival are under construction actually.
However, there are already 9 ways to participate today :
-1- Become a sponsor and get your brand (store, estate, Club) featured
-2- Register your events, make them official Festival events (Festival program here)
-3- Sell your creations. If you are a merchant located in the GA area, reserve your free "Barn-store" at the Market Fair : 15 prims allowed + a freebie to offer
-4- Get your Estate noticed. If you are an estate located in the GA area, reserve your free "Barn-show room" at the Estates Fair : 30 prims allowed + a freebie to offer
-5- If you are a LGBT organization, contact the Festival Committee to hold a LGBT conference (one hour to introduce your cause and share with the public)
-6- If you are a famous DJ and-or host, please contact us asap.
-7- Register as candidate and run for Mr Nude 2011 title - 10,000 L$ prize (Sun 26th at Gay Riviera)
-8- Join the Festival Committee, talents and support are always welcome for events coordination and planing, and security. Contact : HunterTx resident

Here few indications about how are used the funds for the Festivals in the GA.
First of all, a Festival is an awaited time. It highlights great places, shows talents, brings newcomers. Its a time for fun and friends.
Preparing a Festival requests huge amount of time to gather many things together.
Its long days, short nights.
Several weeks before that the Festival begins, the volunteers team meet and decide the schedule as well as the financial plan.
